The formula-first method
The drill that makes the provided sheet actually useful: name the formula before touching numbers.
The formula
Read the problem. Say which formula it wants. Only then find it on the sheet, convert units, and compute.
The unit trap
Candidates who start computing before naming the formula end up solving a different problem correctly. The sheet on the desk rewards recognition, and recognition is trainable.
Worked practice example
Any practice session: run ten problems naming formulas only, no arithmetic, then ten full problems at ninety seconds each. Log misses as formula, units, or pace.
On exam day
A formula and conversion table is provided with the standardized exam; the official version is published by the exam provider at gowpi.org. These pages teach the concepts in our own words so the sheet on the desk reads as a reminder, not a puzzle.
